Timur Sattarov, a well-known developer in Novosibirsk, has started the reconstruction of an old factory building in the city center. The building, located on Serebrennikovskaya Street, will be transformed into a business center with a new design and features.
The triangular quarter between Maxim Gorky Street, Serebrennikovskaya Street, and the October Highway has been gradually acquired by Sattarov and his wife, Olga Grebenyuk, over the course of several years. In 2015, Sattarov transformed part of the triangle into the elite Lukse department store. Now, the corner building on October Highway and Serebrennikovskaya Street is also in their possession, and reconstruction work is about to begin.
The initial plan for the project, presented in 2022 by the architectural bureau DBA-GROUP, included the construction of a multifunctional complex consisting of three connected buildings. The old factory building was supposed to be reconstructed by adding three additional floors, and two glass towers, 16 and 17 floors high, were planned to be built inside the quarter. According to the plan, the old building would have had an atrium, and the inner courtyard would have been equipped with shops and restaurants. However, Sattarov has now decided to change the concept and proceed with a more modest reconstruction of the building.
The renovated building will retain its original structure and height, but it will undergo a complete facade renovation and interior refurbishment. On the ground floor, there will be restaurants and bars, while the first floor will house brand clothing stores. The upper floors will be dedicated to office spaces for federal companies. The building will blend in with the existing architecture along Serebrennikovskaya Street, especially with the Lukse department store nearby.
