On Saturday, Jenna Ortega attended a photocall in New York City for her upcoming film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and wowed everyone with her thematic look. She wore a stylish Dolce & Gabbana pinstripe suit dress with a peplum waist and low-cut neckline. The form-fitting skirt showcased her black platform Keira heels.
To complete her ensemble, Ortega accessorized with dramatic black sunglasses and stunning silver and diamond jewelry from Solo for Diamonds. Her hair was left down and she opted for a natural makeup look with a nude lip.
The Beetlejuice sequel has inspired some fun and campy outfits, including the iconic pinstripe suit worn by the original antagonist. Just a few days ago, on August 14, Ortega sported a dark green vinyl dress with a sculptural bodice and a visible mend resembling Frankenstein's scar. This unique look was a collaboration between her stylist, Enrique Melendez, and Saudi Arabian label Lurline.
On August 18, Ortega once again embraced the striped suit and skirt look, this time in dark blue. She paired it with sheer black tights in a different stripe pattern and completed the outfit with ultra-high heel black boots.
The following day, August 19, she was spotted in New York City wearing a black and white bustier, a black skirt, and a black leather jacket.
In a recent interview with Fandango, Ortega shared her experience of seeing costar Michael Keaton in his full Beetlejuice makeup and costume on set. She described it as intimidating and said, "I felt like I really didn't recognize somebody." Ortega also mentioned feeling like she was dissociating because Keaton looked exactly the same as his character. She even had to stare at her hands to make sure she felt real.
Despite her initial nerves about joining a well-known film and beloved cast, Ortega quickly felt at ease thanks to her costar Winona Ryder. She explained, "We were all in on the same joke or on the same page or had the same ideas. It just felt like a free and collaborative space, but Winona and I—I swear we just started talking one day on set and then never stopped. She's the best."
